Aggravated sexual assault is a crime where a person commits an aggravated assault of a sexual nature, and the victim is wounded, maimed, or disfigured in the process; or the victim's life was endangered.
1st Degree Felony in which imprisonment is mandatory.

1st degree felony: A fine not to exceed $10,000, plus a 90% surcharge.
